What Your Child Will Learn

Control Before Chaos.

Kids Jiu-Jitsu isn't about throwing kids onto the mat and letting them wrestle. Every class builds toward real technique — the same drill-first approach we use with adults, scaled for kids.

  • Safety & Protocols First. Kids learn how to move, fall, and control their body before anything resembling live rolling.
  • Real Technique. Age-appropriate grappling fundamentals — not just games, an actual skill base.
  • Calm Under Pressure. The core Invictus principle, taught early: staying composed when things get uncomfortable.
  • Confidence That Carries Over. Kids leave the mat standing a little taller — parents notice it first at school and home.

A Kid-Safe Mat, Built for Grappling.

Invictus trains on its own dedicated floor, cushioned with a full 2 inches of matting — built specifically for safe rolling, kids included.

What Kids Jiu-Jitsu Parents Say

★★★★★

The instructors do a great job teaching the kids real martial arts skills while making sure the lessons stay age-appropriate. My kids have learned self-defense, confidence, setting boundaries, and respecting others — lessons that carry over into everyday life. Most importantly, they genuinely look forward to going.

There's a great mix of ages, sizes, and experience levels in the classes, but the instructors handle it really well — they know how to pair and coach the kids appropriately and keep everyone progressing safely. As a parent, I really appreciate how often safety is reinforced; it gives me a lot of confidence knowing control and respect for training partners are always emphasized.

★★★★★

It's a bright, inviting and spacious environment. Well-maintained locker rooms and showers are great for mid-day "work escapes." Instructors are eager to help you learn — they "meet you where you are." In sum, this is a great school for kids of all ages, and their parents!
