What You'll Train

A Real Curriculum, Not Just Sparring.

Both gi and no-gi are part of the curriculum — classes are designated on the schedule, and students are expected to train in both. Gi builds technical, control-focused grappling; no-gi sharpens speed and scrambling.

  • Technique & Safety First. A real base of protocols and technique before live rolling — most schools skip straight to sparring, we don't.
  • Gi and No-Gi. Both are taught and expected — not an either/or choice.
  • Real Self-Defense. Practical grappling that holds up outside the mat, not just inside it.
  • Taught by a 2nd-Degree Black Belt. Under the Pedro Sauer Association, still training, still rolling with students.

A Mat Built for Grappling.

Invictus trains on its own dedicated floor, cushioned with a full 2 inches of matting — built for safe, serious rolling.

What Adult Jiu-Jitsu Students Say

★★★★★

I felt very welcomed by all the instructors and students. It's extremely safe when starting out, allowing time for you to learn technique while getting your body in shape without the risk of injury. If you've always wanted to train but were hesitant, come to a class! It's clean, safe, and a lot of fun.

This gym is so much better than where I trained before. You learn way more technique and drill, plus you learn to understand when to do a certain move and why. Promotions are earned, not handed out. I was always getting injured at the other gym, but here everyone is very respectful of their partners.

Questions

Before You Roll

No. Jiu-Jitsu builds your fitness as you train — most students start with zero grappling background. Instructors pace your first classes to your level.

Not on day one — and that's intentional. We're different from a lot of schools here: before any live rolling, you'll learn safety, mat protocols, and a real base of technique so you can actually succeed once sparring starts, instead of just surviving it.

Both are part of our curriculum, not an either/or choice. Classes are designated Gi or No-Gi on the schedule, and students are expected to train in both.
